The Florida ALS Family Foundation is a Florida nonprofit (501(c)(3) status pending) serving families across Florida with financial assistance, equipment, education, and unwavering support.
Our Story
It started at a kitchen table in Tampa
When ALS entered our family, the diagnosis arrived with a stack of bills nobody warned us about: a ramp, a lift chair, a van conversion, hours of care that insurance would not cover.
We were fortunate to have neighbors who showed up. Many Florida families do not. We founded the Florida ALS Family Foundation so that every family — in every county — has someone to call on the hardest day of their lives.
Today we deliver equipment across the state, pay urgent household expenses, fund respite for exhausted caregivers, and connect families to the resources that keep them going.

To provide financial assistance, medical equipment, caregiver support, education, resources, hope, and compassion to Florida families affected by ALS.
